The 7 Things You Should Be Talking About Today

1. Fake news galore, people don’t like being called out

— I appeared on “Reliable Sources” this weekend and called out some “fake news”
— I pointed out, again, why people do not trust the media
“People don’t trust you guys and the reason they don’t trust you is because you are constantly telling them they are wrong, they are stupid, they are racists, and then we’re saying, hey, listen to us you wrong, stupid and racist people.”

2. endorses Doug Jones again

— used Sen. Richard Shelby attacks on Roy Moore to endorse Jones again
— The argument continues to be that Moore is unacceptable and we must elect Jones
— “This state needs people of good conscience to come forward Tuesday and to register a voice for dignity for all people.”

3. Doug Jones need black voters

— Jones’ final push is largely directed at increasing black turnout
— Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick, U.S. Rep. John Lewis, and New Jersey Senator Cory Booker visited the state
— Analysts believe Jones will have to turnout black voters at the same rate Barack Obama did (28%) to win

4. Roy Moore said a lot of dumb things

— Moore made comments about dumping all the Amendments after the 10th
— He suggested he was sympathetic to 9/11 Truthers
— When pushed on President Obama was born in the U.S. Moore questioned the validity of Obama’s birth certificate

5. UN Ambassador Nikki Haley says President Trump’s sexual misconduct accusers should be heard

— Haley stated Trump’s accusers “deserve to be heard” even though the media has covered all the accusations
— Media reports have implied this means that Trump’s accusers should be believed
— Even liberals like MSNBC’s Mika Brzezinski seem to think we might be reacting too hastily to some accusations

6. President Trump spent part of the weekend in the South but not in Alabama

— Trump was in Pensacola for a campaign rally, but he did endorse Roy Moore for Senate
— He was also in Mississippi for the opening of a Civil Rights museum
— Some black leaders boycotted because of his attendance

7. The media botched 3 different Trump-Russia stories last week

— CNN screwed the dates up on a story about the Trump campaign and Wikileaks, making it appear the campaign had access before the information was public
— Reuters and Bloomberg both reported that Special Prosecutor Robert Mueller has subpoenaed bank records, he has not
— ABC News falsely claimed Michael Flynn was going to testify that Trump order Flynn to contact Russians officials during the campaign, he was actually President-elect

Hate at 8!!: Ambassador Haley dares to wish Jake Tapper a “Merry Christmas”

— Haley closed an interview with Tapper by saying ““Merry Christmas, Jake”
— Tapper is Jewish, many argued it was insensitive for Haley to make the comment
— Obviously, Tapper was not offended and he Tweeted, “
I not only didn’t take offense, I took @nikkihaleys “Merry Christmas” in the spirit it was intended, spreading cheer and good wishes, as I intended it to her.”
