“MUSLIM BAN!” a continuation of Obama policies…

This is absurd.

It’s also completely legal (this is coming out more today, after a weekend of theater)

  • Opponents of the order have indicated they will challenge it on at least two fronts: that it sets an unconstitutional religious test, in violation of the first amendment’s freedom of religion; and that it violates the fifth amendment’s right to due process. Plaintiffs will argue that they have committed no offense, nor even been charged with one, before being targeted.
  • But the supreme court has historically deferred to Congress and the White House on immigration enforcement, granting wide powers to the president over the nation’s borders. The court has reserved its right to review cases though, and never directly confronted an immigration case with religious preference as a central premise – it has examined cases involving race and political beliefs. Last year a supreme court case over Barack Obama’s immigration authority ended with a deadlock (4-4) that sent the issue back to a lower court and froze his attempt to protect some undocumented people.

Jesus was not a refugee…

While thousands of Syrians are fleeing the horrifying civil war in which Syrian President Bashar al-Assad is killing thousands of his own people, Mary and Joseph were returning home for a government-mandated census.

Luke 2: 1-7 states:

“In those days Caesar Augustus issued a decree that a census should be taken of the entire Roman world. (This was the first census that took place while Quirinius was governor of Syria.) And everyone went to their own town to register.

So Joseph also went up from the town of Nazareth in Galilee to Judea, to Bethlehem the town of David, because he belonged to the house and line of David. He went there to register with Mary, who was pledged to be married to him and was expecting a child. While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born, and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no guest room available for them.”

The two situations couldn’t be more different.

Starbucks is prioritizing refugees…

These people just want your money and don’t want to deal with stupid angry mobs, this is math not some ethical choice.

Media breathlessly covers anti-Trump SAG awards…

How brave to take a view 100% of the room will applaud you for and 95% of the media will praise you for…
