The media destroyed their own credibility and then feigns surprise at the rise of “#fakenews”…

The MSM is in a tizzy over something they have declared “fake news”, which is apparently anything that is not started in the HQs of The New York Times or CNN…

They are very upset, and they are generally right.

#Pizzagate is stupid and fake news, no question.

BUT…

Why doesn’t anyone trust these people?

Why do people immediately doubt the MSM’s narrative and motives?

Why does the general public hate the media?

Because they have decided that their political/social agenda is more important than the truth…

You want fake news?

Here ya go…

Editing of Zimmerman tape that made the world believe he was racist…

Hands Up Don’t Shoot… (this has gotten many people killed)

That narrative was called into question when a St. Louis County grand jury could not confirm those testimonies. And a recently released Department of Justice investigative report concluded the same.

Yet the gesture continues to be used today. So we wanted to set the record straight on the DOJ’s findings, especially after The Washington Post’s opinion writer Jonathan Capehart wrote that it was “built on a lie.” From time to time, we retroactively check statements as new information becomes available. In this case, the Justice Department has concluded that Wilson acted out of self-defense, and was justified in killing Brown.

This by the way is terrible

UVA Rape

In November Rolling Stone published a 9,000-word article that described the horrific 2012 gang rape of a University of Virginia freshman, and how the school mishandled the incident. For a few days, it seemed to be serving its purpose: The article sparked a conversation about sexual assault on campus and how schools nationwide often respond to brutal crimes with indifference. Then, as questions were raised about why the author, Sabrina Rubin Erdely, either failed to contact the alleged rapists or never even tried, the story morphed into a flashpoint in various other debates, from how we treat rape victims to journalism ethics to the nature of memory. Rolling Stone eventually retracted its report, and now managing editor Will Dana is leaving the magazine.

HGTV hosts must be destroyed…

There have been a billion of these…

Islam is for women….

Duke LaCrosse case.

Hillary Clinton’s health.

Mitt Romney’s taxes.

John McCain’s mistress.

This is just the made up stuff and doesn’t even account for bias, which is probably the real problem.

Some in the business seem to understand this…

The Fox News host asked why the reporters had not been disciplined.

“Where are the editors here?” he asked. “I mean, if my — you know, If I was the New York Times and my editors were tweeting crap like that, I would say you stop that right now or I’m firing you. Why don’t they do that?”

“I don’t know,” Spayd replied. “I don’t know that any of those people should be fired, but I do think that when people go over the line like that, and I think some of those are over the line, that there ought to be some kind of a consequence for that.”

Trump has repeatedly hammered the Times since launching his campaign last summer. He threatened to file a lawsuit against the newspaper during the campaign and, since winning, has accused it of bias.

They are attacked for it…

In RETROGRADE (what a douche)…

Yes, pile on the one journalist understanding that y’all are destroying your field.

If Jake Tapper cared this much about the bias in his industry, maybe it wouldn’t be so absurd…
