Do we have to go to war over everything? #DumpKelloggs/#DumpBreitbart? Just leave each other alone…

Boycotts are for idiots and weak-minded fools who can not win their argument.

So now we must fight over cereal.

People got offended by differing opinions, branded them “racist” and demanded that a company stop doing business the way it wanted to

Activists have been trying to get marketers to abandon advertising on the site and used a screen shot of a Kellogg’s frosted mini wheats ad as part of its online campaign, Bloomberg reports.

Kellogg acquiesced, so people attacked them….

Kellogg Co. announced on Tuesday its decision to pull ads from conservative media giant Breitbart.com because its 45,000,000 monthly conservative readers are not “aligned with our values as a company.” In response, Breitbart News, one of the world’s top news publishers, has launched a #DumpKelloggs petition and called for a boycott of the ubiquitous food manufacturer.

Why is any of this necessary? What is the point of constantly trying to harm people you dislike. Can’t we just have our debates WITHOUT demanding the silencing of our foes.

Make no mistake, getting ads pulled is done for one reason… to shut people up.

CEOs need to ignore these things, every time someone gives in to these demands, they feed the beast. This will never stop.
