Current Huntsville BOE member refutes candidate Pam Hill’s story about the arrest at Grissom HS today…

A candidate for the Huntsville BOE said that SROs might need to be reigned-in or removed from the school system and sighted the arrest of a student at Grissom High School, which Hill implied was the result of an overzealous School Resource Officer policing at  Superintendent Casey Wardynski’s behest.

That interview is here…

Turns out that is not what happened, according to current BOE member Elisa Ferrell.

So what is Hill talking about?

A student was arrested by HPD for a non-school related situation.

Hill is not sure about SROs remaining in schools, does she have a problem with police removing suspects from school campuses as well?

Do any parents feel this way?
