MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) — Public Service Commission member Twinkle Andress Cavanaugh got tickets twice recently in Montgomery for driving with a suspended license.

The tickets were posted on Internet sites this weekend. Cavanaugh called it a shameful effort to hurt her Republican campaign for PSC president.

Cavanaugh got one ticket Jan. 21 when she was pulled over by Montgomery police for failing to stop at a stop sign. She got another ticket two days later when she was involved in an accident.

Cavanaugh said that unbeknownst to her, her license was suspended after she failed to mail in a required form following an accident with a parked car a year ago. She said her license has now been reinstated.

  2. I listen to your show on the way to school just about every day. This week I have chuckled about admitting women to the Augusta golf course where the Masters is held. It is waaaay out there!

The reason we are talking about this is that the CEO/CFO/HEAD/of IBM is always issued an invitation for membership and that head person currently is a female. I don’t think they are talking EVERY female, just this one.

I chuckle because it seems like a non issue, one way or the other!
