I’ll be late, hope to arrive NLT 7:00…my conflict? I received notice last week that an adjoining property owner to me has filed for an exception with the Madison Zoning Board of Appeals for a variance from Residential to Special Exception allowing churches and places of worship…? Seriously? I live in a subdivision…
The public hearing is July 1st at 5:30. This could be interesting on several levels, but at least I’ll get to experience the process as a citizen of Madison rather than a Madison City Councilman…looking forward to that. I’ll get to Mason’s ASAP but I sort’a need to check this out.
Greeting Dale – I was wondering if you thought about inviting our sheriffs? In researching sheriff’s, I’ve learned just how important they can be to protecting our constitutional freedoms, and just how powerful they can be. Its a bad thing to have a bad sheriff
Does anybody know anything about Steve Raby and his polictical positions? Information about him is impossible to come by. I remember Dale having a hard time getting anything out of him before the primaries.
I have known his family for many years. He is a genuine guy, not a packaged lawyer-type who will tell you anything you want hear in order to get elected.
He is not a sitting politician who has been a part of the problem for so long. He does not feel himself to be superior to the citizens of the 5th Congressional District.
Edward,
You seem to have some weird inferiority complex with Mo Brooks. That is your problem stop whining about it.
Edward –
That’s great he’s your buddy, but he’s not just representing his friends. He’s not telling us what we want to hear, he is telling us NOTHING!!!! The blind following of leaders by weak minded fools is what has got us into this situation we’re in.
Very well put!
If Raby thinks he can win the general election with nothing but mindless zombie Democrats who do not care that he has no concrete positions on any issues – he will lose big time.
Mo Brooks has a long history of votes he has made and will discuss any one of them openly with anyone who asks. Don’t believe me? Show up tonight at Mason’s and talk to Mo Brooks in person.
James Lomax campaign will be in attendance! Thanks.
