In light of all the fun we have been having with Parker Griffith’s purchase of an endorsement from Jim Gilchrist’s shady Minutemen group, I felt we should look at Griffith’s first attempt to manufacture support…

A few days ago I received a mailer from Parker Griffith that looked an awful lot like a run of the mill campaign flyer. It did include a request for recipients to contact Griffith and let him know how he is doing. I meant to keep it, but I left it in harm’s way and my wife threw it in the garbage can. Well, it turns out that the flyer included this little nugget in fine print:

This mailing was prepared, published and mailed at taxpayer expense.

It is provided as a service to 5th Congressional District constituents.

Thanks for that critical service! Mailing out what amounts to a campaign flyer at taxpayer expense in the months before a primary election is not only a critical service, but demonstrates what a committed fiscal conservative Griffith has become. He cherishes every dollar of Democrat donations he has in his campaign coffers and minimized the use of that money in favor of using the free money so readily available in D.C.

If you got one of these mailers please scan it and send it to me.

That was the first time.

He did it again yesterday, that’s right, it was the second time in one week.

So technically we are all contributors to the campaign of “The Good Doctor”

Brian quick question – this mailing was approved by a bi-partisan group in Congress so there was no reservation from anyone on either side of the aisle on the use of this practice.

(now my questions)

1. If it was done electronically, would that be acceptable?
2. If CPG had no primary opponent would this still be an issue?

Jeff Vreeland is a paid Griffith tool. (Not a “Tool Academy” but more of a shovel tool) His job is to do this under the guise of “Really is Griffith this bad?”

Any real support out there for Parker Griffith that wasn’t paid for (Jeff Vreeland) or bartered for (John Boehner)?

Pushing Politics Aside (0.00 / 0)

With everything that is happening with the constellation program being closed and jobs being lost by the thousands in Huntsville I think it is a huge boost for the City of Huntsville that the minority leader for the US House is visiting Huntsville, Alabama.

Making this issue political is the last thing we need to do when people are losing jobs in Huntsvile.

Mooncat, is it better to fight a sitting US Congressman or to fight for more jobs in Huntsville?
